| Description |
Could Not Start QuickBooks with XP
|
| Symptoms |
When trying to post to QuickBooks on a XP machine the use gets a "Could Not Start QuickBooks" error message.
|
| Cause |
Most likely this problem is caused when user ugrades QuickBooks from an earlier version. At some point QuickBooks moved the company file to a shared folder on end users machine, typically 'C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Intuit\QuickBooks\Company Files'. If this is the case then CAR_PRO is pointing to the wrong place for the QB data file.
|
| Solution |
In CAR_PRO on the QuickBooks Interface screen, simply re-browse to the QB company file. This should correct the problem.
